Zimina T. M. Laboratories-on-a-chip for securing food safety

An outlook on implementation of new generation miniature integrated analytical instruments — laboratories-on-a-chip (LOC) for securing food safety is given. Sensoractuator functional elements of LOC, integrated into multifunctional hybrid analytical instruments are described including optical elements (spectro-fluorimetric sensor with concave diffraction grid), video sensor for identification of biological particles in channels of microfluidic system using image capture and image recognition algorithms, sensor systems based on microwave band electromagnetic radiation.

The results of studies of silicon carbidebased UV photometry presented. Vertical type 4H-SiC epitaxial pn and Schottkyphotodiodes were manufactured. They characterized by a spectral sensitivity of 230–360 nm and the maximum values of the current sensitivity of 50–140 mA/W. Possibility of controlling the spectral characteristics of the p+— p n+-type 4H-SiC photodiode by reverse bias voltage in the range 0...10 has been shown. The studies showed that p n UV-photodiodes with base doping below 1 · 1015 cm-3 retain their performance up to the fluence of 5 · 1012 neutrons per cm2.

Gareev K. G., Moshnikov V. A. Application of of superparamagnetic contrast agents in magnetic resonance imaging

The paper provides the current state’s review of technology of superparamagnetic contrast agents for magnetic resonance imaging. The examples of practical use in contrast-enhanced imaging are presented for magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles obtained with different chemical methods. The influence of shell’s material and the size of the superparamagnetic particles to the biological properties and contrasting ability of the agents is shown. The latest results on the use of dual-contrast nanoparticles are indicated.

The article describes a computer program PREDICTO @ DESIGNER, developed by the authors, designated to predict the protein secondary structure and design of the primary structure of a protein. The theoretical basis of the approach used in the development of software algorithms was considered. Features of program design, the state of its development, the possibility of further improvement and prospects of application for scientific and practical purposes are described.

Ilin S. Yu., Luchinin V. V. Hybrid fiber nanoenergetika(e-nanotekstil) for autonomous maintenance of human life

The review deals with the possibilities and prospects for the use of such high-tech areas of flexible electronics as a hybrid fiber nanoenergetika and -nanotekstil on its basis, in the decision of socially significant problems of formation of man-made environment of human life. Systematically describes the modern scientific and technological solutions of flexible solar cells, piezo nanogenerators, tribo nanogenerators, thermogenerators, rectennas, lithium-ion batteries, ultraca-pacitors and hybrid energy devices based on them, aimed at the creation of minia-ture distributed systems that can be integrated into clothing or human body, for power supply of its life and enhanced functionality.

Alekseeva L. G., Ivanov A. S., Luchinin V. V., Petrov А. A., Chikyow T., Nabatame T. Memristor — the new nanoscale element of multilevel neuromorphic logic

Experimental results of the creation of a new electronic component base — memristor structures as the basis of a resistive random access memory (ReRAM) for computing platforms of the new gen-eration. In this work, we present results of the investigation of bipolar and multilevel resistive switching in MIM bilayer structures based on Al2O3 and TiO2 thin films, fabricated by ALD method, with platinum electrodes. Structures’ properties radically depend on the sequence of dielec-tric layers deposition during MIM structures fabrication process. The both cases structures show reproducible and stable behavior over 100 cycles. In case of Pt—Al2O3—TiO2—Pt bilayer system is the bipolar resistive switching with two stable nonvolatile states with low and high resistance. In case of Pt—TiO2—Al2O3—Pt bilayer system, multilevel resistive switching with a lot of nonvolatile stable states dependent on applied voltage was observed.
