The paper presents experimental results showing the influence of cutting speed on the cutting forces and tool wear ceramic. Shown the existence of the critical cutting speed, which begins catastrophic increase in tool wear. The recommendations for the treatment of heat-resistant nickel alloys ceramic tool.

The main parameter that characterizes the quality of the cutting tool is its durability. In this regard, for the CNC proposed a method for rapid assessment tool life, which is based on the ability of vibro-acoustic diagnostics and allows to predict the tool life immediately during the procedure of cutting. The method is an approximation model, one of the parameters is predictable tool life, which allows to evaluate the degree of wear of the tool, which provides additional information when making decisions about its timely replacement.

The rotational cutting appeared in the second half of the XIX century and created in efficient designs of the tool at the beginning of XX. This process is system object and can be considered from positions of system approach. On the basis of system approach possible types of problems of rotational cutting are defined and the reasons of arising diversity are opened. Classification of problems of rotational cutting allows to predict development of methods of the decision and reflects development of the theory of design of the rotational tool.

The question of technology improvement for thin-walled internal combustion engine's piston machining is considered. As an example, generally accepted typical machining process of the 21126-1004015M piston is given. This process is analyzed for improving. Increasing in accuracy of manufacturing and decreasing of the machining time are necessary result of the improvement. At the same time, discovering of a new more improved typical piston's machining process has an object. Also creating and generalization of methodological approaches of design-technological preproduction and its application during future creation of technological processes have an object too.

Titov A. V. An assessment of mechanical properties of an initial material of spring manufacture by a method of acoustic issue

Now at the enterprises, springs engaged by manufacturing, at a stage of the entrance control, tests which differ the raised labour input are spent. In this connection development of a procedure which will allow with high accuracy has a urgency, without greater expenses to define quality of an initial material. Interest for the decision of this problem is represented a with not destroying quality monitoring and, in particular, a method of acoustic issue.

For an establishment of laws between parameters of acoustic issue and mechanical characteristics of titanic alloy BT23 the experimental research consisting a stretching of samples before break with simultaneous registration of signals of acoustic issue is executed. The analysis of results of research has shown a possibility of application of a method of acoustic issue for an assessment of mechanical characteristics of initial preparations (for example, definitions of a limit of fluidity).
