This article includes the information about the solution of the essential problem of machining — the reliability of this process. The using of special lathe tools with different «chip-breakers» solves this problem. Obtainers the dependences which determine the conditions to crush the chip. Presents the method of determining of the conditions of coup for plates with spherical bumps and plates in the form of grooves.

Basyuk S. T. Capsular upsetting and deformation shift

We have analyzed the semi-finished cylindrical works hot pressing methods combining powder metallurgy elements with elements of deformation technologies. The hot pressing of pre-pressed billets made from discrete materials: powder, granular, crushed etc. and castings placed in a metal capsule allow to obtain the density up to 0.98-0.99 of a solid material density and eliminate internal discontinuities of castings appearing during their solidification. All this provides the high quality of the semi-finished products.

Baron Y. M. Technology of blanks deburring in magnetic field

Burs are formed on edges of blanks at cutting down and at processing of them by cutting, and removal of the burrs requires a lot of manual work. The blanks usually have small rigidity, and it especially complicates removal of burrs. In the paper the research results are reflected, what directed on intensification of the magnetic abrasive deburring process without deformation of flexible blanks. The high result — the burrs removal on a blank contour for 3-10 seconds of processing — was received by optimization of the work area form and of number other conditions of processing. The result was received for the first time and it is recommended to use in an industry.

New Materials And Production

Muratkin G. V. Investigation of the dressing method effect

The results of theoretical and experimental research are presented to prove demonstratively the benefits in obtaining the high level of dimensional stability of shafts of the dressing by Superficial Plastic Deformation (SPD) against the dressing by elastoplastic bending and stretching. It was found theoretically and proved experimentally that there is a possibility to prolong the process of development of operational bending deformation within tolerance by creation of the residual bend of the part axis by SPD dressing.
