Egorov S.A., Obronov M.S.  Study of the effectiveness of anti-wear additives to coolants containing metallic stearates

The friction and cutting can be implemented in terms of self-organization surface to form self-healing layers. As antiwear additives which realize the effect of used salts of fatty acids. Tests were carried out on friction and wear. The result has been to establish the catalytic ability of salts of fatty acids of Nickel for the adsorption of copper on the steel surface. The operations of turning of steel by the method of simplex planning is defined conditionally optimal composition of anti-wear additives for oil coolants.

Keywords: coolant, the metallic stearates, catalyst, anti-wear additives, the cutting edge cutting.

Bundur M.S., Prokopenko V.A., Pelevin N.A. Features of allocation of the cutting modes of metal processing at taking note of the variation of the equivalent mass of the spindle

The method of the accounting of the changeable equivalent mass of a spindle on parameters of dynamic quality with application of nomograms are considered in work. The program for the automated definition and plotting of characteristics of the equivalent mass for various technological operating modes of the metal-cutting machine are developed. The cyclic algorithm of the program of determination of dynamic parameters of automatic control system depending on the size of the varied equivalent mass is presented. For the characteristics received by means of the program three zones depending on the specified weight are allocated. Nomograms for estimation of a phase margin for various moving-out put of the spindle and mass of holders for corrected by a RC-chain and not corrected variants of a control system of the bearing are received. The corresponding conclusions and recommendations are given.

Keywords: hydrostatic bearing, control system, equivalent mass, dynamic quality, phase margin, correction, energy parameters.

Mokritsky B. Y., Kim V. A. , Konyukhova Y. V., Samar E. V. The concept and results of the development of an Arsenal of technological processes of hardening of tool materials for given conditions of operation of cutting tool

The paper shows the possibility to control the efficiency of cutting tool due to the choice of rational technological process of hardening of tool material for given operating conditions. The concept of hardening is built on a multi-case hardening effects at each stage of manufacture of the tool material. The obtained results allow to create a competitive technological processes of hardening of tool domestic materials.

Keywords: hardening of tool materials, coatings, arsenal of technological processes.

Guseinov R.V. Vibration during hole cutting

Examines the features of processing of holes with the vibrations arising in the cutting process. It is shown that the use of ultrasound for intensification processing hole cutting requires special equipment, heads, special cuts, special tools and have not found widespread use in production. Based on the study of the dynamics of cutting a new way to improve vibration resistance technology systems. It is shown that the main and most effective means of increasing vibration resistance, therefore, resistance of the axis tool, is the reduction of the total area of contact of the tool with the workpiece in the cutting zone. On the basis of the analytical conclusions developed effective design axial tools having resistance greater than the resistance of standard tools 1.5-6 times.

Keywords: cutting dynamics; treatment of opening; self-excited oscillations; axial instrument; drills; markers.

Zakharenko U.V., Ziza A.I., Ilyin A.V., Tsukanov V.V.  Improving the operational reliability of high-pressure cylinders. Part I. Definition of characteristic requirements of metal, which ensure safe operation.

Operation conditions, material requirements and their relationship with fracture resistance of high-pressure cylinders were reviewed. It was demonstrated, that a significant excess of the strength of the material in relation to standard documentation leads to lower operational reliability, which is confirmed by studies of cases of destruction. The necessity of tightening the material requirements of material was justified: adoption the upper limits of the strength and toughness control during Charpy tests.

Keywords: high-pressure cylinder, operation conditions, mechanical properties of the material, toughness, fracture toughness, stress corrosion cracking.

Levashova E.L., Yakovitskaya M.V.  Improvement of electrocontact-arc abrasive processing of titanium alloys of the martencite class for the reduction of surface reduction

The problems connected with ensuring the lowering of the roughness by using the combined processing method - electrocontact-arc abrasive processing is considered. The main causes that affect the structure of the surface layer of titanium alloys of the martensitic class are singled out. A method for solving the surface roughness up to 2,5 mkm.

Keywords: electrocontact-arc abrasive treatment, titanium alloys, diamond grinding wheel, combined electrode tool

Vinnik P.M. Calculations of stress-strain states, current trajectories, accumulated strain of detail with variation of wall thickness between top and bottom dies at drawing with wall thinning

This paper proposes mathematical model of inter-die metal transferring at drawing with wall thinning through two dies. The stress-strain state of the material and the accumulated strain calculated. The model can assess the plastic state of metal and give an explanation of the experimentally known features of the process.

Keywords: drawing with wall thinning, accumulated strain.

Korotkih M.T., Medko V.S.  The use of phase-structural transformations during processing with heating of high-strength steels and cast irons

The aim of the work is to measure the effect of high-intensity heating on the change in the strength characteristics of high-strength steels and cast irons. To explain the fact that some materials remain low when they are cooled to very low temperatures. A technique for determining the thermal efficiency of a plasma arc is proposed and its dependence on a number of parameters is studied.
