Kostrova O. B., Landau I. B., Safyannikov N. M. System of Metrological Support for Analyzers for Enzyme Immunoassay and Biochemical Analyzers

The paper concentrates on the issues of improving reliability of laboratory diagnostics by means of regular functionally complete check-up of biochemical analyzers’ and analyzers for enzyme immunoassay performance using the tools based on the precision discrete solid-state simulation of liquid samples. The paper concerns metrological support of analyzers in the process of their manufacturing and operation. Existing means of intralaboratory control and state calibration of analyzers for enzyme immunoassay are examined, advantages of solid-state version of control elements are noted, technical decisions found by the authors are described, that provide check-up of all the main technical parameters of analyzers and realization of the mentioned decisions at the mass production level. Finally the paper shows that the result of the work is providing all the park of photometric biochemical analyzers and analyzers for enzyme immunoassay with check-up means intended for the use in the operation process and means of state calibration.

In Russia the main part of laboratories of medical institutions consist of small and medium-size ones. They are insufficiently equipped with microplate analyzers for enzyme immunoassay because existing models are overelaborate and too expensive for most part of peripheral users. The authors offer the strategy of step-by-step accelerated equipment of Russian regions with technical means for enzyme immunoassay with parameters more suitable for the Russian conditions. Portable microplate analyzer AIF-P fit for the work in resource-sharing mode, in mobile laboratories and emergency situations, is being prepared for release at the first stage as a basic model.

Existing methods and equipment for on-line monitoring of uremic markers concentration during hemodialysis treatment are discussed. A novel method for uric acid determination in effluent dialysate using spectral absorption at the two wavelengths in the UV spectral region is suggested. The basic parameters, the structural diagram and the software overview of the optoelectronic system for investigation of the kinetics of uric acid elimination are presented. The results of the clinical trials of the designed system are analyzed.

Construction of portable mass spectrometer to diagnose diseases by analyzing exhaled human air is considered in detail. Structure of mass spectrometer is described. Due to the capillary and membrane inlet systems possible both evaluate the dynamics of composition changes of exhaled air and determination of low concentrations of volatile organic compounds. The experimental check of the mass spectrometer is produced.

Smirnova L. M. Technology and systems for the complex estimation of the musculoskeletal system and the its correction

The article discusses the problems for creation of equipment and information technology to detect deformations of the musculoskeletal system and violation of human static and dynamic functions, assessing the effectiveness of treatment, prosthetic and orthotics. A description of the necessary systems, developed and implemented in Russia and CIS countries by Enterprise Saint Petersburg:Electrotechnical University «LETI», Ltd « DiaServis» and «VIT», Scientific Practical Center of G. A. Albrecht. The results of the use of this equipment and technology in medical practice are presented.

The article describes the physical and technical basics of microfocus X-ray diagnostics. The features of the Xray imaging using the radiation source with a focal spot size less than 0,1 mm are analyzed and a methodology for the quantitative assessment of these features is proposed. Results of using the de-veloped digital microfocus X-ray diagnostic complexes are presented. Their design and characteristics are described

Infrared and terahertz irradiation is now of a particular interest in construction of the brand-new types of medical diagnostics equipment, security and controlling devices those are able to be used in counter-terrorist actions. It appeared that the infrared irradiation modulated in the terahertz frequency range can be also applied to design the medical devices for the special therapy and prophylactics of different diseases, because the vast majority of the most important biochemical reactions in human body appear to be enhanced by optical pumping in this spectral range. “IR-Dipole”, the device that has been constructed to bring these ideas to life generates a far infrared emission in the wavelength interval from 1 to 700 microns provided by the terahertz modulation frequency value from 40 GHz to 3.5 THz. The device has been developed using the different techniques within frameworks of the silicon planar nanotechnology. The further research on the silicon optoelectronics and nanoelectronics appeared to give rise to the construction of a bigger panel emitter “Infrateratron” that made it possible to cure large area burns and shocking at the same time. This device is also very highefficient for treating the serious demielinisation forms of central nervous system.

Krasichkov A. S. Mobile alarm system for patients with myocardial ischemia

The main principles of mobile alarm system for patients with myocardial ischemia design is discussed. The algorithmic solutions that are capable of effective performance in the presence of noise are discussed. The alarming system includes a standard smartphone that receives the signals from the ECG sensors via bluetooth channel. The designed ECG sensor module is described.

Livitckaia K. A., Shapovalov V. V. Diabetes management in primary care. Systematic review of mobile applicationsrelated development

In the field of mobile health, software development for people with diabetes has a wide variety of diabetes diaries with a purpose to improve the quality of patients’ lives. However, while such mobile applications are being used by patients, use of such technological feature from primary case perspective is still in a doubt. The data from these applications are not used by physicians due to the lack of the functionality. Despite the mentioned fact, massive volume of important vital information can be used. This can not only positively effect the course of the treatment but help to identify disease complications on the early stages. The goal of the systematic review is to focus on possible trends in the development of mobile applications for diabetes management in order to improve the quality of patients lives.

The development of the nanotechnology industry initiates two areas related to the concept of security as «state of the protection of the vital interests of the individual, society and state from internal and external threats»:

• analysis of the causes of nano threats;

• using of nanomaterials and nanotechnologies for the creation of security systems.

Since the substance in the form of nanoparticles and nanomaterials possess properties that are often radically different from their macroscopic counterparts in the form of dispersions or solid phase [1], nanomaterials represent a fundamentally new factor affecting the organism and its habitat. It puts on the agenda the development of methods to assess the risk of the possible negative impact of nanomaterials on human health and the organization of the control over their turnover [2].
