Anisimov A. A., Skorobogatova A. I. Implementation of neural networks for improving the accuracy of indirect blood pressure assessment

The structure of a system for home monitoring of arterial pressure based on a modified oscillometric method was presented. Using signals received from the developed tonometer, the efficiency of the main algorithm for analyzing the signal of arterial pressure pulsations, the algorithm of the maximum amplitude and the realized neural network was evaluated. Obtained results showed similar measurement accuracy, but the neural network is able to determine the pressure parameters for pathological signals, which is extremely important for users with cardiovascular diseases.

Keywords: long-term monitoring, telemedicine, neural networks, intellectual algorithms, arterial pressure, hypertension.

Isakevich V. V., Isakevich D. V., Sushkova L. V., Al-Barati B. S. Cardioeigenoscopy in Tasks of ECG Compression and Analysis

The introduced appliance of ECG storage and analysis uses a PQRST cycles’ density matrix orthonormal eigenvector basis in order to store up to 100 million compressed ECG in 1 Tbyte of memory. The used approaches are implemented in a Scilab-based freely distributed version. A prototype implementation is based on workstation with Elbrus architecture. The restored records may be analysed with any usual techniques. The additional techniques are provided by the appliance which are based on analysis of eigenvectors and components of the density matrix.

Keywords: density matrix, synchronous ensemble, ECG compression, ECG visualization, eigenvector, eigenvalue, cardioeigenoscope.

Serdyukov Yu. P., Gelman V. Ya. The formation of signals for ultrasound methods that provide high resolution. Part 2. Class of signals with optimal spectral characteristics for ultrasound methods

Based on the results of mathematical modeling, using signal applied for ultrasound methods, in the first part of the article we formulated a number of requirements for the characteristics of „ideal“ probing signals. In the second part of this article, we describe a class of signals that provide a higher resolution as compared to standard ones. It is shown that the synthesized signals have characteristics different from the standard signals used for ultrasound methods. Thus, despite their finite duration, they have essentially better spectral characteristics, which meet the requirements of „ideal“ probing signals.

Keywords: ultrasonic research, resolving ability, probing signals, optimal signals.

Isakov R. V., Alexeeva I. I. Biotechnical registration system for vibro-acoustic signals

All internal organs of a person are in constant micromotion. Each repetitive mechanical movement with a deviation from the normal will eventually lead to a pathological change. Currently, no special attention is paid to the study of mechanical manifestations of vital activity. There are devices that can register micromovements, but each of them specializes only in one area intended for it. The purpose of this work is the development of a multifunctional biotechnical system for recording vibro-acoustic signals of the human body (oscillations of brain structures, pulse waves, phonocardiosignal, balistocardiosignal, pneumographic signal and vibroarthrographic signal). The developed system provides registration of the main internal vibrations of the organism in a single convenient system in the frequency range from 0 to 1000 Hz. The system can be used for rapid examination of functional abnormalities in the body during a primary examination in clinical and home settings.

Keywords: vibro-acoustic signals, micromotions, registration, diagnostics.

Nechiporenko А. Р., Plotnikova L. V., Nechiporenko U. Yu., Uspenskaya M. V., Plotnikova N. А., Ishevskiy A. L. IR-spectroscopy and refractometry oils, оil- and CO2-extracts of рlant materials

Methods of infrared spectroscopy of frustrated total internal reflection (FTIR X) in the range 4000–600 cm–1 and refractometry comparative study of industrial fatty and essential oils, CO2-extracts of the company «Caravan», experimental oil extracts and meals, and also dried minced medicinal and aromatic raw materials of different origin. The obtained data showed a correlation of all of the refractometric characteristics, regardless of the anatomical parts and the nature of plant raw materials, technology of obtaining oil extracts. Study the source and separated CO2-extracts by the method of IR-spectroscopy has shown that the composition of the concentrates are fragments of lipoproteins and glycolipids, native context, which are destroyed upon dilution.

Keywords: fatty and essential oils, CO2-extracts, refractometry and infrared spectroscopy oils and extracts.

Grigoriev E. B., Krasichkov A. S., Kozlenok A. V., Moroshkin V. S., Berezina A. V., Nifontov E. M. Analysis of dynamic properties of changes in breath acetone concentration in healthy individuals and patients with CHF in stress testing

The article presents the results of processing breath acetone concentration data during stress testing. Groups of 15 healthy men aged 25 to 50 years (mean age 36,4 ± 2,1 years), and 26 male patients aged 23 to 65 years (49,07 ± 2,12 years) with chronic heart failure of I–III functional class were recruited. Measurements of acetone concentration were made during exercise on a veloergometer with the gradual increase of load. The absence of influence of the test protocol type on the acetone concentration in healthy subjects was shown. The parameters that show characteristic changes in acetone concentration during exercise are found. Based on these parameters, differences in the acetone concentration between healthy subjects and patients with CHF were revealed. In addition, the patients were classified according to patient—healthy groups.

Keywords: volatile organic compounds, acetone, mass spectrometry, chronic heart failure, stress test.

Vasil’ev A. Yu., Petrovskaya V. V., Khizhnyak A. Yu., Silyagina A. S., Potrakhov N. N. Analysis of endodontic treatment of teeth using various methods of radiology (in the experiment).

The use of a microfocus cone-beam computer tomography (micro-CBCT) has widened the idea of the anatomy of the teeth and the nature of the endodontic material. The preparation of a remote tooth was studied with the use of microfocus radiography (MFRH), multislice computed tomography (MSCT), cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) and micro-CBCT. At the initial stage of endodontic treatment according to the results of MFRH, MSCT and CBCT, the same information was obtained about the number of roots and canals, but pathological inclusions and cracks were not diagnosed. As endodontic material gutta-percha pins with a horizontal character filling of the root canals were used. For a more detailed assessment of the quality of endodontic treatment in laboratory conditions, micro-CBCT was performed. This study showed high information in determining the nature and quality of canal filling, and also many small cracks and additional tubules were diagnosed.

Keywords: microfokus radiography, come beam computed tomography, multislice computed tomography, microfokus come beam computed tomography.
